Curious about how and what you will learn in ABC? Not sure if ABC Cooking Studio is the one for you? Fret not! We do have trial lessons for you to try out. Trial lessons are open to all non-members and are designed to let you learn more about ABC Cooking Studio and to have fun. Each lesson is maximum 2 hours. Ingredients, equipment, printed recipe, and packaging (cake/bread) are provided.  Meanwhile, please bring your own takeaway bag and apron. For cooking lesson, customers are mandatory to dine in. We have trial lesson every day and almost in every hour! We are sure that you can join our trial lesson at your preferred date and time.

Chocolate Marble Chiffon Cake with Cassis Cream

We have 3 highly popular regular trial lesson menus that you can choose from. Select ONE menu for the trial lesson you intend to attend. Occasionally, we offer a seasonal trial lesson menu (for a limited period only) on top of our regular menus. A trial lesson is designed for a first timer to ABC Cooking Studio to experience the joy and excitement of learning to cook or bake. Customers who joined the trial lessons are encouraged to pursue further learning through our regular courses. Our trial lesson is conducted in a small group, with up to 4 participants to 1 instructor, so that you can enjoy the optimal amount of time with our instructor and ask questions. After the trial lesson, our instructors will explain more about the benefits of becoming an ABC member, the application process, the course structure, the package discounts, the various payment options, how to make lesson reservations, as well as answer any questions you may have about the studio and our courses in general. This briefing is only included with a trial lesson, hence that is what makes it different from our other lessons such as 1-Day Lessons or workshops.

We conduct trial lessons every day, for a duration of 2 hours, starting from either one of these timeslots: 10:15am,12:45pm, 2:00pm, 3:15pm, 4:30pm, 5:45pm, 7:30pm and 8:00pm. You may check the availability of our trial lessons by visiting our studio or simply call us at our studio number during our operation hours.

We offer a very low price of IDR 455.000 per pax if the booking is made through our trial lesson page, exclusively for first timers only to try our lessons and introduce you to the studio (maximum of 4 pax).

We will provide printed recipe, ingredients and tools/equipment to be used in the trial lessons. Packaging for bread and cake trial lessons are also provided for you to bring back and share with your loved ones. However, dishes from cooking trial lessons are strictly for dine-in only. Please bring your own apron and takeaway bag for your lesson.

You may use the locker space to safely store your belongings during the lesson.

Zero experience is required, therefore even beginners are welcome to join the lessons. Lessons are conducted in small groups with up to 4 participants to 1 instructor, so you will feel comfortable to ask any questions during the lessons. However for safety reasons, we do have age restrictions for the trial lessons. Cake and bread trials are for 9 years old and above only, while cooking trials are for 13 years old and above only. Kids age 4 to 8 years old can register for our Kids Course, or join one-day lessons that we offer for kids from time to time such as “Parent & Kid One-Day Lesson”

You can, if you are already registered as a member. As one of the member’s benefits, you can unlock other menus in our trial lessons by introducing your friends or relatives to us (for member referral, limit to 3 referrals per session only). Read the following section on how you can do just that.

Absolutely! Students who are already registered as a regular member can join another trial lesson for FREE by referring friends or relatives who are also interested to learn. By referring new people, members will be rewarded with a free trial lesson ticket which you can select any menu of your choice. Your friends and relatives will also be able to join the trial lesson together with a further discounted price of IDR 255.000 per pax! Kindly contact your instructor for more details.

Yes, we have! Besides our highly popular regular trial lessons, we also open seasonal trial lessons from time to time. The menu may vary every few months and will be offered in limited time. Unlike a restaurant, we need to assign instructors who will come fully prepared for the lesson. We will also prepare the ingredients according to the number of students to ensure all our customers use only the freshest and highest quality materials. We keep our promise to you that each instructor will teach a maximum of only 4 students per table, so that you will get the attention and feel comfortable throughout the lesson. So yes we do require all our students to make a reservation before every lessons in order to meet these standards.

We only use strictly halal ingredients in the studio. However, we have not yet obtained halal certificate from the Indonesian authority. Therefore, the current status is “No pork, no lard” to be exact.
